You have found our amazing truffle products, now how do you use them?
There are no restrictions! You can use them any day of the week and make your dinner a special one.
Next time you are entertaining, take your charcuterie board up a notch or impress your guests with a gourmet dinner party by adding truffles to the menu.
Here are a few ideas on how I use truffle condiments with ease and simplicity.
On a busy weeknight, you can put together a pasta meal in less than 30 minutes.
How? Just like this! Cook your pasta and drain but reserve about ½ cup of the pasta water. Drizzle 1-2 teaspoons of truffle carpaccio on the pasta, add ¼ fresh parsley and toss. All you need is a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.
Everyone loves a great charcuterie board. Adding a dollop of pear preserve is the perfect pairing with any cheese.
Everyone knows that citrus and fish work beautifully together. Use the orange preserve on grilled or baked fish like salmon, red snapper, or shrimp.
Mushroom Risotto with Black Truffle Oil
1 large shallot finely diced
4 tbsp butter
1 tbsp oil
2 cups sliced Cremini mushrooms
1 cup Arborio rice
1 cup of dry white wine
6 cups of hot chicken broth
1 cup of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Add 2 tbsps butter, oil and shallots in a deep sauté pan and cook until translucent.
Add rice and stir until rice mixes with onions, add wine.
When liquid is almost absorbed, add a ladle of hot broth.
Keep repeating this step until rice is cooked al dente.
When rice is cooked and with the last ladle of broth, add salt and pepper, 2 tbsps of butter and cheese. Combine the two!
The texture should be very creamy and a bit runny.
